At Ajman Academy, we pride ourselves with our students. We have the resources to nurture and develop students in all areas; whether that be music, drama, art, sport, academic or leadership abilities.
Ajman Academy promotes a culture where not only academic success is a priority but also the achievement in other areas is recognised and celebrated through the IB framework and philosophy.
In this issue, you may read about our student-led conference that took place last Thursday, October 26th, our student evidence on the Seesaw App, technological updates and so much more!

Student-Led Learning Journey
These Learning Journey conferences were quite different from the traditional parent conferences, in the sense that it is not a parent-teacher meeting. It is, in fact, the students showcasing their work to their parents and guiding them into what they have learned from the beginning of the academic year. During the event, the students took the lead instead of the form tutor.
Global Ed Tech Summit - Prague
I have the pleasure to announce that Ajman Academy was represented in the Global Ed Tech summit that was held in Prague on the 26th & 27th of October, 2017.
I was lucky enough to be one of the key note speakers at the summit talking about the topic of "Transforming Digital Learning for Learners with additional Learning needs"
In an age of increasingly personalised content, learners expect their online learning to be as unique to them as their social media streams. Find out how personalised learning is transforming the way we support learners with additional learning needs and take away some simple tips you can use to make learning more personal in your organisation.
Global ED Tech Summit brings together Educators, Technology Directors, School Administrators, ED Tech Company Executive, Educational Leaders, Technology experts, Entrepreneurs and industry leaders to share and exchange ideas on innovative ways to engage students and improve the quality of Education.
School iPads
Students are now able to use their iPads wisely for their home learning and class projects and academics.
Seesaw Application
Students and teachers alike document and share what they are learning, so that parents are able to see their child's work and learning journey, whether it's in class or home-based.
Please make sure that you have the seesaw application downloaded with your child's unique details.
