Bring your library books on May 3!
This Tuesday, May 3 will have our last class visit to the media center to check out books. The media center will be used for testing the last few weeks of May, so it is very important that your child returns any books that they have checked out! If you are unsure... please email me and I will let you know on Monday what your child has checked out!
Muffins with Mom is May 4!
Our breakfast will be from 8-8:30 AM in the FSA Cafeteria. We will provide coffee, milk, juice, and some breakfast treats, along with the fun surprises our kids have been working on for you! Can't wait to see you there!
STEAM Day needs YOU!
The FSA STEAM Day plays are moving full speed ahead for a great day of learning and fun onThursday May 5th.
We are looking for volunteers to work directly with the kids all day (some half day volunteer spots are also available) and have lots of great opportunities including working with art, fossils, gemstones, building stuff, and more. If you can’t wait to spend STEAM day at FSA, please sign up at http://vols.pt/4SEcEr
If you have specific questions about STEAM day, please contact Alison Gurevich at akgurevich@gmail.com
Thank you!

A Peek at Next Week...
Social Studies: We will be looking at the lives of George Washington Carver and Theodore Roosevelt to wrap up our American Heroes unit. We will have a brief mini-assessment on Wednesday over Carver and Friday over Roosevelt. We will have a American Heroes quiz the following Monday. A study guide will be sent home this week. We will be taking a break from science this week to finish our unit in social studies.
Character Education: We will be reviewing the strategies we have learned this year on learning strategies, emotions, emotional management, and problem solving. We will have a brief summative assessment at the end of the week.
