Principal Points

I know that the beginning of the year can be a bit hectic and 2020 is multiplying school start by 100. So, I decided to send out a little more frequent communication to start the year. Please note that Julee Pelot (admin asst) has retired so it's me, myself, and I in the office. I try to answer phones as much as I can, but leave a message if I don't get to it. Also you can email me at cwhooleyjepson@wausauschools.org. I'm pretty good at checking emails.

Please remember our PPF - BE POSITIVE, BE PATIENT, and BE FLEXIBLE. We are all doing our best with all the new pieces in place. Following are some "to dos" to help you get ready for a successful school year.

Yours in partnership

Colleen Whooley Jepson, Principal

If you have not yet filled out the form on your internet access for the district, please do so as soon as possible. It takes only 2-3 minutes to fill out.

Free/Reduced Lunches - SIGN UP ON PAYPAMS

Lincoln families will continue to qualify for free breakfast and lunch; HOWEVER, Lincoln families absolutely MUST sign up their family on the Paypams site (listed below). Families will order food for the week and will choose the pick-up location for this food. There are drop down menus on PayPams for ordering and choosing site location.

This link will take you to a video put. together by food services manager, Karen Fochs.

Infinite Campus Sign up

All families will want to sign up for Infinite Campus parent portal. This portal allows you to see grades, pay school fees, update phone numbers and addresses and check busing information. To set up your portal:

Choose Parents at the top of the page, then choose Infinite Campus Portal
Select Campus Parent
Select New User (Bottom of the white panel titled Wausau School District)

GUID here (If you do not have your Activation Code, please call the Lincoln office 261-0965 after 8/23. I am working on obtaining access to share your codes).

Create your own username and password. Once you have established your own username and password, the activation code listed below will no longer be valid.

Parent Teacher Conferences

When you come to parent conferences, please bring:

  • a backpack for materials for your child to bring home
  • your own personal device (i.e. iphone). - staff will show you how to log in to the parent portal of SeeSaw. (if you have time, you may want to download the app to your personal device before arriving at school).

When you come to parent conferences, you will learn:

  • more about the teacher
  • more about school expectations (we will be virtuall 8:30-3:30)
  • more about SeeSaw school app

When you come to parent conferences, you will be given:

  • student I-pad
  • student schedule
  • supplies for learning from science, art, music, and regular education

Our hope is that virtual learning will be so learner friendly that students will not require much/if any parental help (except for maybe our kindergarteners - and even them for just a short time). Students can attend from daycare (if they are in a daycare facitily), at home, or wherever else they may be during the days.

You will be able to sign up for conferences on Tuesday between 8am and 3 pm, Wednesday between 11am and 7 pm, or Thursday between 8am and 3pm.

We would ask that only 1 parent with the student(s) who is enrolled in school please attend. Masks and social distancing are required. Please enter through Door 1 and we will direct you where your meeting will be held. The login for parent conferences will be mailed along with the welcome letter. So be on the lookout for snail mail and/or email in the next 2-3 days.
