Haynesfield Happenings!

HurriCANES have a code!

Parents does the below image look familiar? We are super proud of CANES’ code here at Haynesfield. CANES’s code will be our common language throughout our school and we will use CANES’ to reinforce positive behavior. Your son/daughter may have come home modeling a CANES’ code sticker. If so, it is time to celebrate! Your son/daughter was observed displaying an aspect of CANES’ Code. The sticker is one of the many ways we will influence and celebrate the desired behavior.

Please join us in wearing something ORANGE on OCTOBER 20th as Haynesfield Elementary participates in UNITY DAY. Unity Day is dedicated to showing hope and support for all individuals that have ever experienced bullying. This year, we are encouraging all students to Sprinkle KINDNESS every single day. By wearing our ORANGE loud and proud we will be making a pledge to help end bullying. Also at school on this day, each child will be receiving a donut shaped fidget ring. These may be used to calm students down when they are feeling anxious or help alleviate stress if they are ever feeling overwhelmed at school. Thank you for participating in UNITY DAY 2021!
