Susan Lyons, Blaine Forsythe, and Stephen VanGorp all took roles in other buildings. We are thankful they are still in the Pella Schools! Our beloved school resource officer, Officer Pearson, officially retired, and Colton Williams, one of our fantastic associates, is pursuing a business and marketing role. We wish them all the very best!

Class of 2026 Departs ~ Pella Middle is Preparing for the Arrival of the Class of 2028

Annually, we wish a bitter sweet, "Goodbye" to our 8th grade students as they transition to Pella High School. There was no exception this year with this 8th grade class. They were great leaders, students, friends, and ambassadors, and we are grateful for the foundation they laid for the incoming 7th and 8th grade students.


The Class of 2027 demonstrated their ability to be tremendous students this school year. They will lead well, and we are eager to be a part of their continued successes with us next year as 8th grade students.


Furthermore, we have heard great things about the incoming Class of 2028 7th grade students, and we are excited to get them started. Here's to another outstanding, hope-filled, meaningful, and student-focused year at Pella Middle School. Go Dutch!

Mrs. Kelsie Parton once again hosted "A Night Under the Stars" at the Vermeer Pavilion for over 100 students with special needs or disabilities. It proved to be another outstanding event honoring all that attended.

The Counselor Connection

Time does fly when you're having fun, this year was proof! It has been a pleasure to walk alongside students as they navigated the highs and lows of their middle school year. This group of students have persevered and grown so much! They are brave, courageous, and open-minded individuals who will continue to be the GOOD in this world. Thanks for sharing them with us.
