From the Principal's Desk

What Does the Principal Do During E Learning?

Popping in to remote classroms to see the teachers and students at work is one of the things I enjoy. I was able to see how creative our teachers are with fun STEM snow projects.

Troubleshooting technology issues to make sure that our students are online is a top priority.

Meetings via Teams to collaborate with other administration keeps me busy.

Elliott Kindness Challenge

Elliott School will be participating in the Kindness Challenge the week of February 14th. I will be sending home information regarding the daily events.

Dazzling Dozen- Caught with Character

Each month teachers and staff members catch students doing the right thing and practing our positive character traits. When they are caught with character, students names are placed in a school-wide drawing. Then twelve students are drawn twice a month as our Dazzling Dozen. In December we were focused on honesty, and in January we were focused on compassion. In February our focus will be on leadership. Keep up the great work!

All noted will be collected in a mailbox located just outside the library and distributed to staff on Valentine's Day with a sweet treat. Here is a copy of the "print-at-home" version which can be found on the PTO website at: http://elliottelementarypto.com or on our Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/ElliottElementaryPTO/ Just send it back to school with your child by Friday, February 11th.
