Catholic Charities' Foster Grandparent Program
Paynesville Area Elementary School graciously welcomes Foster Grandparents! The Foster Grandparent Program offers seniors, 55+, the opportunity to work with students in local schools, or other non-profit agencies with children who need extra assistance. Typically school “Grandma’s” and “Grandpa’s” work one-on-one with kids who need some extra support both academically and emotionally.Foster Grandparents have the ability to use their time, skills and experience to help children learn. Volunteers put in a minimum of 260 hours a year and receive a tax free stipend, mileage reimbursement, and educational opportunities.
This is a great opportunity if you have time to spare, love to be with children, and could use some extra non-taxable income. For more information, please contact Sara at 320-229-4589 or www.ccstcloud.org
