Learning Intentions

Writing Workshop

As writers, we wrote narrative stories. We added details to our stories and illustration.

Reading Workshop

As readers, we learned that readers use lots and lots of words while reading. (Telling the story by looking at the pictures). We also learned that when readers re-read, they gain more and more meaning about the story.

Math Workshop

As Mathematicians, we recognized numbers 0-10 and used one-to-one correspondence when counting out objects up to 10. We wrote numbers 0-5.

Science/Social Studies

As Social Scientists, we learned about maps in our communities, state, country, and world.
Brianna, Brooklyn, Cooper, Aubrey, and Madeline are drawing maps.
