Dear Sheridan Families,
Gifts. Games. Reader’s Theater. Snow (again!). Treats galore. What a wonderful way to wrap up this jolly time and launch into Winter Break. You were all so amazingly generous with our staff and we can’t thank you enough. We have enjoyed every moment of this week soaking in all of the holiday spirit with our Sharks.
Speaking of generosity… our Student Council Fundraiser for Hurricane Ian relief raised almost $370! We are so proud of our fourth graders for coordinating this event. Thank you to Paul White for the popcorn machine and his time! We will be donating the money to the American Red Cross.
Finally, many of the Student Council students delivered an amazing presentation at this week’s D67 BOE Meeting for the “Sheridan Spotlight.” Student Council talked about the projects they work on and what they hope to achieve this year. Special thanks to our staff members Katie Edmondson, Nicci Hannemann, Audrey Swift, and Lily Hicks for leading this dynamic group.
We wish all of our Sheridan families a warm and wonderful Winter Break full of fun family time. We’ll see everyone in the new year!
