A BIG "THANK YOU" FROM THE CHEERLEADERS

The cheerleaders would like to thank everyone who came out to support NMS Cheer at their first Spaghetti Dinner and Showcase Fundraiser. We would also like to thank the local businesses and parents that donated to help make this event a success. The cheerleaders also had the awesome opportunity this week to participate in the Annual Martinsburg Christmas Parade. They weathered the freezing temps to represent your Blue Devils with pride. Go NMS!

REMOTE LEARNING PRACTICE SESSIONS

Today, each teacher in the school spent a few moments showing students how to get into Microsoft Teams in preparation for remote learning days that COULD occur due to excessive snow this season. If BCS is closed more than FIVE days, our 6th-10th days would be remote learning days, so we wanted to make sure all students knew how to access their live classes on those days.

Each teacher will have a red "remote learning" folder in Schoology that contains the live class link as well as other important information about assignments. The remote learning link will also be at the VERY TOP of each class Schoology page for easy access. See the example below. Please review this with your student and look at Schoology NOW to make sure you can locate the Teams link for each class. We hope we will not have to use this, but it's a great idea to be prepared NOW before the 6th snow day would hit. As always, contact the school if you have any questions!
