As you can see, the upcoming week is the Week Of Respect. We've spent the first month of school talking about ways for our kids to be respectful and to show how important it is to treat others as you'd want to be treated. This week, we will celebrate by having a different theme for dress daily. As you can see on the calendar, there are also other things to celebrate this week.
Need Some Help: Although lengthy, the car line for parent pick-up at dismissal moves fairly quickly. We have PreK dismissal at 3 PM with a couple of buses and some families picking up their children and coming through the parking lot. It would be helpful if you would wait until at least 3:10 before starting the car line. I understand many of you are coming from different places or appointments but if you arrive before 3:10, please be very careful and find a parking space. We've had cars lining up before 3 PM and many driving past buses while they are loading.
New School Nurse: Join me in welcoming our new school nurse, Madison Watt. Ms. Watt joins us after working in the emergency department at RWJ-NewBrunswick. She will be working with Mrs. Drake over the next week to learn the school and district procedures and routines.
