Morse Code is and alphabet or code in which letters are represented by long and short signals of light or sound. It is named after Samuel F. B. Morse, a painter and founder of the National Academy of Design. Samuel Morse, along with Alfred Vail and Joseph Henry developed the electromagnetic telegraph and the code that assigns a set of dots and dashes or short and long pulses to each letter of the English alphabet. Its a great way to communicate and could be helpful in case of an emergency.
