The Achievement Banquet was held on Sunday, October 30th at the Extension Office in Rushville. 4-H youth members were awarded their fair premium money and 4-H year pin. New members were able to sign up for 4-H and enjoy the banquet and supper in the conference room.
The 4-H Alumni award was awarded to Deb Kearns. She has not only volunteered to help at fair, after school, but also with school enrichment programs. She always comes with a happy smile on her face and ready to give our 4-H youth the best experience. She is an amazing volunteer who always gives her best to help our youth thrive.
The Business Friend of 4-H was awarded to Morgan Meisenheimer. This year's recipient is a prime example of a business who goes above and beyond helping the 4-H program to Make the Best Better! She spends countless hours capturing special moments at the fair and working to make sure every child has a picture showing their personality while showing. She also ensures that champion photos are of professional quality. We are very fortunate to have Morgan in our community!
The Jane Beguin Friend of 4-H Award was awarded to Tess Hinn & Carol Vincent. These two people continue to be wonderful advocates of the program and always are willing to step in and help. They have devoted many hours each year in finding donations for the Buyers Bonanza and for preparing and serving the meal each year. The Council and staff feel so very fortunate to have these professionals taking on this role!
