Last Thursday, 42 of our best runners represented TPS at the South Cluster Cross Country Championships. The course, held at Waipuna Park, was a lot more challenging than our track at Memorial Park, with massive hurdles to clamber over, and an extremely steep hill that quickly fatigues many of the athletes. All TPS athletes gave it their best effort, resulting in some exceptional overall placings, including a clean sweep in the Year 5 Boys race. Whakamihi to the following students who placed in the top seven of their respective races, and will now compete in the WBOP Cross Country event in two weeks time.

TPS Sporting Superstars
Ka Pai to our Year 6 Netball Team, TPS Piwakawaka for their efforts on the weekend. The team played in a local Year 6 Netball tournament and finished the day with three wins and one draw.
