Who's looking over your sholder
Eyes are on you
"I wish i wasn't afraid all the time, but... I am. "
We all fall in line
Everyone rises at the tone
All uniform like when its rings
Copying motions like a clone
No one reviews the whole thing
We are trained to respond to sound
A bell a honk such as a pet
We all move on one ground
We all are apart of one set
No one realizes how we are sheep
We all share the same cage
When you find time to go to sleep
Just know everyone is on the same page
We are a cult, a tribe, how ever you word it
We all are controlled pets in a big circus
Dystopia
The land of the free is such a broad statement. You would think America would realize that this country isn't free. The government leaves no privacy and watches every move just as the society in the book " 1984" does.
The government's surveillance has become an issue that is having some light shined on it. “If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.” But civil liberties groups such as the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the American Civil Liberties Union warn that surveillance goes well beyond what Congress intended and what the US constitution allows." Says Chris soghoin . It has become a little more than protection for us and is turning into a weapon against us. It is an invasion of privacy for computers and phones to be surveyed without anyone knowing.
We are supposed to have an impact on major decisions that have an impact on us and there hasn't been any discussion in any of that. As a democracy we should have a right to decide what we want filtered and what we don't want as a decisions of the masses. "Snowden recognises the value of the NSA in counter-terrorism, but thinks the spy agency has dangerously over-reached itself. He is a fugitive from US law, in exile in Russia. But the debate he wanted to start when he decided to become a whistleblower is now happening." Everyone that is unaware of what is happening are still being impacted by the governments control. Just as in 1984 where as though the "big brother" is always watching the government is technically always watching. My computer (while typing this paragraph) is getting data collected it from it without my say so. The government in a way is just like big brother because there really isn't any stopping them. There is no further jurisdiction that can say stop interfering with lives and information. "It is this program that has dominated US political debate since then. Early in October, Senator Dianne Feinstein, the chair of the Senate intelligence committee, wrote in USA Today: "The call-records program is not surveillance. It does not collect the content of any communication, nor do the records include names or locations. The NSA only collects the type of information found on a telephone bill: phone numbers of calls placed and received, the time of the calls and duration." But privacy activists critical of the NSA surveillance program vehemently disagree, arguing not only that the collection is based on a legal interpretation that goes way beyond what Congress allowed, but also that metadata includes personal information, which can build a more detailed profile even than listening into content." Basically the government have taken safety precautions to the extreme until it has become uncomfortable. The aware Americans are paranoid and the unaware are simply being surveyed while they continue to be unaware.
Big brother and the government have the same impact and serve the same purpose in their society. They intrude the society while trying to protect and control its society.

Ke$ha - Die young
Oh, what a shame that you came here with someone
So while you're here in my arms
Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young
We're gonna die young
We're gonna die young
Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young
Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young
Young hearts, out our minds
Running 'til we outta time
Wild child's lookin' good
Living hard just like we should
Don't care who's watching when we tearing it up (You Know)
That magic that we got nobody can touch (For sure)
Looking for some trouble tonight (yeah)
Take my hand, I'll show you the wild side
Like it's the last night of our lives (uh huh)
We'll keep dancing 'til we die
I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums
Oh, what a shame that you came here with someone
So while you're here in my arms,
Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young
We're gonna die young
We're gonna die young
Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young
Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young
Young hunks, taking shots
Stripping down to dirty socks
Music up, gettin' hot
Kiss me, give me all you've got
It's pretty obvious that you've got a crush (you know)
That magic in your pants, it's making me blush (for sure)
Looking for some trouble tonight (yeah)
Take my hand, I'll show you the wild side
Like it's the last night of our lives (uh huh)
We'll keep dancing 'til we die
I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums
Oh, what a shame that you came here with someone
So while you're here in my arms,
Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young
I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums
Oh, what a shame that you came here with someone
So while you're here in my arms
Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young
We're gonna die young
We're gonna die young
Let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young
Die young / Dsytopia
In the song "Die young" Kesha talks about how someone is conforming to the ways of society " heart beating to the beat of the drum". She is rebelling against it by taking the members that are conforming and dancing. Dancing like there is no tomorrow regardless of responsibilities and what you are told to do is an act of rebellion against a dystopian society. When kesha refers to dancing until she dies means that no matter what she is told she will not listen and she will not stop showing how passionate she is about not doing what she is told. She is showing someone else the ways of her rebellion and she sees how average they are by just going with the flow. Kesha says shes "looking for trouble" meaning that she actually encourages repercussions. It also isn't her first time breaking the rules because she tells a conformist to "take her hand she will show em the wild side" meaning that she knows what shes doing when it comes to not following the rules of society. She also accepts the fact that she might not make it because she just wants to make the most of the night like its her last meaning if it was she wouldn't mind.
