Board Election Notice
Each year in May, CCA holds an election for our Board of Directors. There will be 3 open positions. 2 of the requirements to be considered as a CCA Board member are:
Potential candidates must attend a minimum of two (2) regular CCA Board meetings during the nine (9) months prior to the April Board meeting. The February & March Board meetings are eligible meetings for this requirement.
Potential candidates must interview with at least one (1) current Board member prior to the nomination form submittal deadline (between March 27 - April 10, 2023).
The candidate forms and biography forms will be shared in March 2023. For the complete Election Procedure Packet please see attached.
Parent Teacher Conference Sign Ups
Parent-teacher conferences are coming up on Thursday, February 16 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Friday, February 17 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Please click here to access the Parent Teacher Conferences Sign-Ups.
Translators for Parent Teacher Conferences
Parents! Resources are available for interpreters. If you would like a translator to assist at your child's conferences please email Ms. Cox or Mrs. Ryan at els@cherrycreekacademy.org. In your email, please state your name, your child's name, what language you speak, when your conference is, and the teacher(s) you will be meeting with. We look forward to seeing you soon!
School Resource Officer Appreciation Day - February 15
We just want to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to our SRO Officer Gray! Our school is a safer place with you in it - we appreciate having you here so much. February 15, 2023 is School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, and we definitely appreciate ours!

Kindness Week This Week!
The Fly Like an Eagle (FLAE) team is excited to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week Monday, February 13, 2023 through Thursday, February 16, 2023 (Friday, February 17, 2023 we have no school for students due to Parent/Teacher Conferences). The FLAE team has some great activities planned for this week so be sure to ask your students about it!
FREE DRESS DAY - Thursday 2/16 is a free dress day! Students are encouraged to wear bright or neon colors to show that CCA Shines Bright with Kindness.
*As always, all free dress must follow CCA dress code.

CCSD's Exceptional Volunteer and CCA's Super Volunteers
Earlier this year we celebrated Shoshana Howley as our Exceptional Volunteer for volunteering more than 200+ hours in the past year. Congratulations to Shoshana and all of our wonderful volunteers for being so hardworking and amazing day after day!
We also want to recognize our Super Volunteers - who are the volunteers that have already completed more than 50 hours in this school year! At CCA, we value our partnership with our parents. These parents have not only fulfilled their parent agreement but have received new badges to use for the rest of the year for their outstanding volunteer hours.
