School Improvement Visit

Lots of positive comments from our visiting team:

  • liked seeing high technology usage
  • thought the school was quiet and orderly
  • liked seeing hands-on work, discussion, and on-task behavior by students
  • said students were "becoming adults"
  • enjoyed the posted student work and positive college culture (teacher signs, college flags, etc.)
Points of challenge:

  • 9th graders as needing to know "how to do high school" (maybe need more orientation or mentoring by older students)
  • Reading and math challenges
