NDHS - PowerSchool

NDHS has been added to PowerSchool. This is to remind students and parents that NDHS occurs each day from 11:31-12:01. During this block, students may be assigned to, or voluntarily attend, NDHS sessions with their teachers to receive help with concepts, to catch up on missing work, to attend tutorials, or to write missed exams.

Teachers will not be assigning grades or taking attendance in NDHS - it has been added to PowerSchool to show that this is allocated time for student support.

Online Classes

Are you still struggling to get into Schoology for your ONLINE CLASS? All RDCRS Online courses will be found at To login you will need to use your PowerSchool login information. If you need login RDCRS information contact your school office.

Prayer at the Pole

National Day of Prayer for Schools will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at 8:00am in front of the Notre Dame Flagpole. Join us to pray, followed by coffee and donuts.

Peer Tutors

We are currently looking for students who are interested in being a peer tutor. If you would like to be a peer tutor, please come down to Student Services and pick up a form from Mrs. Richard or Mrs. Gramlich. You get to choose the rate you charge, your availability, and the subject to tutor. Best of all, you get to help someone out!!

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residentials schools, as well as their families and communities.

Our school will be closed on September 30; however, we will be acknowledging and commemorating Orange Shirt Day/National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as a school community on September 29.

Annual Trip to the Rockies!

Youth Ministry's kick off trip to Crescent Falls will be held on Wednesday, September 28. Join Notre Dame, St. Joe's and St. Dominic's for a hike, Mass, and fellowship! Permission forms available at the Youth Ministry office, and are due back by the 23rd.

Edge Youth Group Leadership Training

Are you interested in being a High School for Edge Youth Group? There will be Edge Training on Tuesday, October 4 at Notre Dame High School from 4:30-9:00 pm. If you are interested, please see Miss Jeannette in the youth ministry office (room 1305).

Yearbook Club

Yearbook Club has started up. If you enjoy taking photos, attending school events or graphic design and storytelling, then come join us as we build this year's yearbook. Meet in 2204 at lunch time on Tuesdays. All are welcome!

Dungeons and Dragons Club

Come and join the Notre Dame Dungeons and Dragons club! This is a fun place for fantasy enthusiasts. Find like-minded peers that play all sorts of different TRPGs. New players are welcome! There will be many experienced veterans to help out and lead your adventures.

First meeting (session zero) is at lunch, Wednesday, September 21 in the Learning Commons.

Attention Work Experience Students!

Let's get going earning your hours and credits! Those students who have submitted their employment information should be able to pick up their contract to be signed within one day at the office.

Student Voice

Student Voice meets on Thursdays! Your school, your voice. Join us to share your ideas. Help plan events and activities to make Notre Dame even better! Students in all grades are welcome! Bring your lunch and see you in 2505!

Career Planning: Grade 12s

Calendar will be opening for Gr.12's to book appointments starting Tuesday this week. Make sure to book your appointment to help plan your next steps after graduation - including post-secondary admissions and scholarship inquiries. Appointments can be made through the Career Center page on our website.

Girls in Aviation Day

There will be a Girls in Aviation Day (GIAD) event at the Red Deer Regional Airport on September 24. This event is an International event that started eight years ago. GIAD is now in over 60 countries. The mission is to bring all things aviation together so our community can learn

about the industry. The vision is for young girls to leave with an image of careers and access to

information and pathways to broaden their awareness of all professions in aviation.

The event is geared towards girls ages 8-17, and they will have age-appropriate

content for elementary, middle, and high school. There will be positive female role

models, pilots, aviation mechanic engineers (AME), flying clubs, schools, tours,

swag, giveaways, bbq, and many interactive STEM activities. They also have many volunteer positions for students working towards community volunteer hours.
