Dawg Dish - Updates from MVHS
Week of March 22, 2020
Note from the Principal's Desk
Thank you for all of your patience and collaboration with us to make this a successful transition for all of our students. I want to extend a huge amount of gratitude to the entire Mount Vernon staff. Their amazing dedication and hard work to ensure that all of our students are able to access learning and in a safe and healthy environment is unmatched. Their excitement and innovation is readily evident as we begin the process for a return to campus and hybrid learning.
Below you will see the results of the community survey where families and students shared their views. These viewpoints helped us in the development of our hybrid model. We are indebted to our community for sharing your perspectives and needs with us.
As we move forward with our hybrid plan, we need to know if your student will be attending in person or remaining remote. There is a survey link below that MUST be completed for our planning purposes. Please complete one form for each student you have in grades 9-12 at MVHS by March 26, 2021.
Additionally, I would like to congratulate our Bulldog athletes, CTSO organizations and Debate team for successful return to competition and representation of our Bulldog Pride. Below you will see the accolades these students and their coaches have earned over the past few weeks. They represent the best of MVHS!
With respect,
Dr. Terri Wattawa, Principal
Dra. Terri Wattawa, Directora
