Dear FSS Staff,
I am so glad to be back at school. Please thank Bridgid, and Jessica for the stellar job they did leading. We have an amazing staff with bigs heart. We are a tighter, more cohesive staff then ever before. I am so proud to be a part of our school and can’t wait to see the greatness continue.
I have attached to this email my personal principal goals. I think sharing them with you will help us align our vision, collaborate tighter and be very transparent about the urgency of our work. We have to get FSS students reading at grade level, period! We all agree this is crucial to our students success. Our baseline and summative scores in Lexia, CAASPP and benchmark assessments all support this.
Lindsay and I will begin our regular instructional walks thrus looking for evidence of collaboration in your environment and instruction among your teams this week:
- Are we talking and planning together and teaching (posted) CA content standards in a rigorous manner?
- Are we implementing Lexia during planned small group instruction with the Intervention teacher support?
- Are we teaching math standards? Are we using ED Caliber for pacing? Are we using the UCI design structure?
Carpe Diem!
Stephenie
