Proud IB World School In December 2020 Summit Ridge Middle School passed our authorization to become an official International Baccalaureate World School in the Middle Years Programme(MYP).	Middle Years Programme The Middle Years Programme provides a framework of learning that encourages students to become creative, critical, and reflective thinkers. MYP builds off of skills developed in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and prepares students for the IB Diploma Programme (DP). Dakota Ridge High School offers an IB Diploma Programme pathway. The IB Learner Profile represents 10 attributes that are core values to IB World Schools. Each month students at SRMS will focus on one of the 10 Learner Profile attributes. In August we focused on what it means to be a Caring learners inside and outside of the classroom. September's Learner Profile attribute focus is being a Risk-Taker. As Risk Takers in the classroom, students challenge themselves and try new things.
