UPDATE CONFERENCE CHANGE:
Due to a scheduled maintenance to the St. Paul water system our November conference schedule has changed.
Friday, November 17th No School for PreK - 12th grade. Parents teacher conferences will be scheduled from 12:30 - 7:30 pm on Friday, November 17th and again on Monday, November 20th from 7:30 am - 7:30 pm. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
- Friday, November 17th no school pm conferences.
- Monday, November 20th full day conferences.
- November 21 - 24 No School.

Multicultural Coordinator – St. Paul Elementary PTC
The PTC is looking for someone to fill the vacant (volunteer) Multicultural Coordinator position. The ideal candidate for this position would be a teacher or a parent with children currently attending St. Paul Elementary School, and someone who is bilingual. The responsibilities would include attending monthly PTC meetings (as often as possible), communicating with other Board Members regarding upcoming events and PTC sponsored activities, and acting as a liaison between the PTC and the Hispanic community members, to strengthen the partnership and our efforts to support the school and its students. For anyone interested in applying, please send your letter of intent to ptc@stpaul.k12.or.us
PTC Fundraiser
The St. Paul Elementary PTC is excited to show everyone our newest fundraiser - just in time
for your holiday shopping! These are handmade, custom silicone bead pens, small keychains,
and bracelet keychains. Pens come with a replacement ink. Prices for each are as follows:
- Pens (P1 through P4) - $7 each
- Beaded keychains (K1 through K4) - $5 each
- Bracelet keychains (K5 through K7) - $10 each
These can be purchased by emailing PTC@stpaul.k12.or.us. We will also have some for sale at
Cinnamon Roll pickup in November.
St. Paul Green Grazers 4H Club will kick off the 4H year in October.
Projects include pigs, sheep, steers, dairy heifers and goats for large animal projects. If you would like more information about the club and to be added to the email list, please contact Tricia Chastain at 503-931-3440 or Jen Greaves 503-930-6041.
SPYSO new board positions
We know it’s October, but baseball & softball will be here before we know it!
We have a few open positions on the SPYSO board as well as various coordinator positions that need to be filled, so we can begin working on the upcoming season.
Please join the current board for an open meeting on November 16th at 7pm, upstairs at the Marion Ag. Farm Store.
OPEN POSITIONS:
-Treasurer
-Softball League Rep.
We will discuss the duties of the open board positions, as well as the available coordinator positions.
This board cannot run without parent volunteers. Please consider joining us for this meeting to learn more about how to support your St. Paul youth.
