Health Fair
The Hobby Magnet Program is hosting our first annual health fair here at Hobby MS on April 20th! We are so excited to offer athletic sport physicals for next year, free fitness classes, host city council members, have student work on display, collect blood with the San Antonio Blood Bank, and even offer local health/wellness related businesses a booth to promote their business. If you are interested in promoting your business and helping us educate our community about not only the importance of health and wellness, but also the professionals that make it happen, please email us with more information about you and your business and we can discuss further details.
We have a few Hawks that will be joining our 7th grade class next year. We are seeking a few ambassadors to show our new Hawks around at the Hobby Hangout next Friday March 1st. Please let Mrs. Heye know if you can help out.

Dismissal at the end of the day:
Wells Fargo bank across Huebner from Hobby Middle School has asked that their parking lot not be used for student pickup after school. Recently they have seen an increase in traffic at this time and have asked Hobby to communicate with our families.
Lower parking lot:
Please review the attached photo of our lower parking lot located on the corner of Vance Jackson and Huebner.

Counselor's Connection
What a great month February has been in the Counseling Department. This past week we wrapped up our personal health and safety guidance lesson with our magnificent 8th grade Hawks. We also were able to help coordinate the Spring Panorama Survey for all of our students. We have some more great things in the works for the month of March, so please stay tuned.
