Band of Warriors Bring Home the Hardware!
Scottsburg gave a great performance of their show, “Finding Paradise” and received great reviews from the judges. With being the only band in their class, the band walked away with 1st place, Best Percussion, Best Color Guard, Best Music, Best Visual, and Best General Effect for their class. Their score was good enough to place 3rd overall out of the 16 total bands. The two bands that placed higher were Louisville Male and Floyd Central, both schools that are much larger and have larger bands. The color guard walked away with the top score out of all 16 color guards, beating the second place squad by 20 points!
Congratulations to the Band of Warriors on a great start to the season! They next perform this Saturday, September 14th at 3:30 pm at Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis. Best of luck to the Band of Warriors in their next contest!
