Neoclassical Architecture
Recalling the Architectural styles of ancient Rome and Greece.
Characteristics
- Based on Triangular shape
- Commonly has domed roof
- Symmetrical in shape
- Common architecture for government buildings
- Made with sandstone, Marble or bricks
- Can use a variety of different styles
- Commonly found along east coast of America
- Heavy Greek and Roman influence
