Crandall High School
VIRTUAL COLLEGE FAIR
KEEP STUDENTS SAFE ON THE INTERNET
Crandall ISD uses Bark for Schools to help monitor our school-issued Google accounts for signs of digital dangers. When potential issues like cyberbullying, suicidal ideation, and threats of violence arise in a student account, Bark sends us a notification through a Technology Department setup. As parents and guardians, you can also benefit from receiving these alerts and we are asking for your help this year in helping keep our students safe.
Bark’s free parent portal delivers alerts directly to parent accounts. Since students use their school-issued accounts at both school and at home, families are often in better position to respond to urgent alerts after hours, on weekends and during breaks. These are times when school administration may not be available in the event of an emergency.
Student safety and health will always be a top priority for our students. Whether they are here with us during the day, or home with you at night and weekends, together we can fight and educate against digital dangers. Thank you for your support as we strive to help keep our students safe both online and in real life.
Please sign up on the clipboard located outside the attendance office. Once you have added your name to the list, it will be ready to be picked up in 48 hours.
Doctor’s and Parent’s notes for student absences: Please email doctor’s or parent’s notes for your student’s absence to either firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. These notes can also be faxed to 972 427-6136. If a paper note is brought into the attendance office , it will have to sit for 72 hours before it will be entered into the student’s attendance record. If you have any questions, please call the attendance office at 972 427-6150 x 5305.
With our newest Crandall ISD Choral Programs off to a great start, we also have a CISD Choir page for all things CMS and CHS Choir related.
