SC Book Award Challenge
Students in grades 1-4 are encouraged to participate in the SC Book Award Challenge at LMES throughout the school year. This is a voluntary reading program where students choose from the current list of SC book award nominees. Books are featured each year in both the picture book & children's book categories and span different genres. Mrs. Matney book talked the nominees at the beginning of the year and explained the online book review process.
