8th grade families: A Skyward email was sent to 8th grade families today regarding our "Raccoon Launch" experience taking place on May 23. Tickets are on sale now.

Thank you so much SLI families for your support of our staff for Staff Appreciation week. They have done a fabulous job this year with all the transitions and changes. The gift cards, monetary donations, and snack/beverage donations are very much appreciated.

Message from our Music Department
In 2011, the Silver Lake Music Department established a scholarship fund to give deserving students financial assistance to attend music lessons and camps. Since that time, more than 100 students have received scholarships totaling $10,500!
This year, there are fifteen $200 scholarships available for students. This is a great opportunity for your child if he/she has never had a private lesson, to continue private lessons, or to attend camp. While we teach lessons at school, they are in small groups. One-on-one lessons are very beneficial to musical growth!
Below you will find the scholarship application that is due Friday, May 7. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding the scholarship, lessons, or camps. Thank you.

What does my child do if they are in quarantine or isolation?
Even though we are back full face to face five days a week, students in quarantine are expected to Zoom into the class here at school.
If your child is ill and is unable to participate in the virtual schedule (i.e. attend Zoom meeting with the in person class), please email your child's teachers so they are aware and can work with individual families/students.
What if my child has technical issues at home?
Students and families who need technical support can submit a ticket using the form on their student bookmarks, or available here. In addition, support from our Technology Help Desk is available during the school day by calling 262-560-2126 or emailing helpdesk@oasd.org. For those who do not have reliable internet access at home, please contact our help desk to request a hotspot. The OASD Technology Website has additional information on remote learning and technology resources.
