NEW - TIP Rubric Option 1 - Progress #2 Submission
NEW - Tip Rubric Option 2 (delayed) - Progress #2 Submission
Progress #2 submission is due March 5, 2021.
Comprehensive Progress campuses have no Progress #2 submission.
Some things to remember for your TIP:
Complete Cycle 2 Reflection!! This often gets overlooked. Take time to scroll to the very bottom of your TIP tab and complete your cycle reflection.
Utilize the language of the ESF key practices and success criteria to guide all sections of the TIP and especially the action steps.
- Cycle Barriers name what needs to be addressed this year/90-day cycle. They are comprehensive and well thought out.
- The communication plan details the plan for each prioritized essential action and explains how you will create buy-in from all stakeholders (students, staff, families, community).
- District Commitment Theory of Action steps are aligned to the correct prioritized essential action and are included in the ESF Framework. They should be written as an If.....then...... statement.
- Desired 90-day outcomes should be measurable and describe what implementation of the essential action will look like on the campus at the end of the 90 days.
- District actions for the cycle name the district actions that need to be addressed this cycle for the prioritized essential actions.
- Action Steps are aligned to the correct focus area, are cycle specific, address ESF Key Practices, and include all necessary information. Each action step is meaningful and will allow the campus to make progress toward further implementation of the aligned prioritized essential action. Action steps address the barriers identified for the cycle. All prioritized essential actions have at least one action step. At least 75% of action steps have or will have been met or have achieved significant progress.
Schedule a time with your School Improvement Liaison to support and review your plan before submission. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
If you were requested by TEA to submit an artifact, we also have a guidance document for you. Artifacts are meant to serve as evidence of implementation of the Targeted Improvement Plan and allow you the opportunity to showcase the work teachers and campus/district leaders are engaging in to impact student learning. The artifact(s) you choose should illustrate significant progress of implementation of at least one of the Prioritized Essential Actions in your district.
Please select one or two artifacts. I have attached a list of sample artifacts. This list is not exhaustive but provides suggestions for the type of artifacts you may choose to submit. Please reach out to your liaison to determine which artifact would be best to submit for review.
