NPS Response to Governor Stitt's Announcement Regarding Quarantine Changes
Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt today announced local changes to quarantine protocols in schools. We will review Governor Stitt’s updated recommendation and consult with local health officials when the full documentation becomes available to school districts. However, at this time Norman Public Schools will continue to follow current contact tracing and quarantine protocols that have been established by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as we believe this is the best course of action to protect our teachers, students and extended families until further information becomes available for consideration. For more information about COVID-19 protocols in our schools, visit www.normanpublicschools.org/covid.
Sincerely,
Dr. Nick Migliorino
Valentine Parties - What You Need to Know
Snacks/treats for the party will follow our guidelines of ALL individual pre-packaged treats. No pizza, cupcakes, etc. This is the same as it is for snacks and birthday treats that are sent during the school year.
We also respectfully request that deliveries of flowers, balloons, etc. are skipped this year. We are still limiting individuals that enter the school during the day so we can keep students and staff safe.
Extended Absence Process
The parent/student will receive a copy of the complete form back from the school with any information that they need.
If you have questions, please call Emily in the school office.
