IMPORTANT INFO FOR RETURN TO FULL-DAY LEARNING
Letters with Full-Day School Info in the Mail
Full-Day Virtual Learners
Your child will engage in a full day of learning Monday-Friday. They will follow the school day schedule of in-person learners at their grade level. Students will be released two hours early on Wednesdays.
The school day includes whole-group instruction, and individual or small group instruction with their teacher throughout the day.
Students will be marked tardy if they show up late to either the morning or afternoon session. Students that log-in and log-out after a short amount of time would be marked absent. Students that miss more than 90 minutes of the morning or afternoon session would be marked absent for that session.
Students who are consistently unresponsive throughout a morning or afternoon Google Meet session will be marked absent for that period.
Your child will still have access to therapists, special education, EL, or reading services they would have received at their home school.
Your child’s virtual teacher will communicate with you to let you know when materials will be ready for pickup each week.
If your child is out ill please contact the Jefferson Attendance Line at 920-663-9529 to report the absence.
Full-Day In-Person Learners
Students will be required to wear masks while they are in the building, as they enter and exit the building, and while they are riding on the bus (if applicable).
Parents that are dropping off or picking up students will be required to wear masks on school grounds.
Students may not arrive at school earlier than 7:50 am and are picked up by 3:20 pm. Students must report directly to their assigned door as the playground remains closed before and after school.
Students will be provided with daily recess. Recess times will be staggered throughout the day to allow for social distancing on the playground. Playground equipment will continue to be closed and unavailable for use.
Students are provided with one special class each day. This will be a rotation of Art, Music, and Physical Education.
All students will be provided with breakfast and lunch each day. Students will eat both meals in their classroom. All meals are free of charge to all families this year due to a federal grant. No microwave is available.
Your child should bring back their Chromebook and charging cord to school as Google Classroom will no longer be utilized.
Your child should bring back their three math books, school books, and any school supplies you have used at home.
If your child is out ill, please contact the Jefferson Attendance Line at 920-663-9529 to report the absence.
