Congratulations to: Hugh (1), Amelia (1), Chase (1), Sophia (2), Tiyo (1), Maverick (K), Everson (2), Edie (1), Abby (1), Jackden (2), Magdalena (2), Sofia (K), Sawyer (1), and Willa (K) for completing the Bee Awesome Challenge for February! Great job Miner Bees- we had 30 students complete this challenge during the month of February!

Staff and Parent Parking:

Reminder: Parking spots in front of the school and and behind the school are for staff only. Also, please do not park in the handicap parking space to drop off students. When dropping off your students, if you need to park, please park in spots on the outside perimeter of the school. You can pull up along the side of the school on Townsend and drop you student(s) off there. Second grade students can walk through the playground area to where they meet by the gym. Thank you for helping us out!

TES Accountability Meeting Recap *Meeting was cancelled due to attendance. We will be meeting for a coffee chat with Mrs. Treinen and TEF soon to continue the conversation on how to get more parent involvement at TES. We hope you can join us. More information soon!

Reminder: Incoming Kindergarten parent meetings are Monday, March 6th @ 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday, March 7th @ 8:30 a.m. All incoming kindergartens should attend one of the meetings. If you are interested in Dual Immersion, you must attend the meeting. We look forward to sharing our programs with you!

Registration for currently enrolled students is open. Got to tellurideschool.org to complete it today! Deadline for continuing students is March 31st. If you need assistance with the registration process, please check out the flyer below for times to come to Palm Lobby for help.

Incoming Kindergarten Dual Immersion Intent to Commit due by 9:00 a.m. on March 27th

Hello families,

In partnership with your child's school, Tri-County Health Network (TCHNetwork) is pleased to offer Skippy, a school based dental program providing comprehensive oral healthcare to your child at no out of pocket cost to you. Through Skippy we bring dental care to your children so they can spend more time in the classroom and less time traveling to a dentist!

The Skippy dental team provides the following preventive care:

• Dental Exam

• X-Rays

• Fluoride treatment

• Protective Sealants

• Cleaning

• Education to your children about how to brush and floss

• Free toothbrush, toothpaste and floss

• If needed, primary restorative care: in the form of Interim Temporary Restorations (ITR) and Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF)

This convenient dental visit takes about 30-45 minutes and gets your child back in the classroom quickly.

Telluride Elementary School clinic will begin on Thursday, March 23, 24 and 27, 30 & 31.

(We will be at TIS/TMS/THS beginning on Thursday, March 9, Friday, March 10, Monday, March 13. As well as March 16 & 17, 20.)

If you would like to sign your child up, please fill out the consent form by going to https://tchnetwork.org/skippy-consent/ or you may pick up paper form at your child’s school. This consent is valid for the entire school year, both fall and spring semesters, unless revoked by a parent or guardian. Remember, if you signed up for the fall you are automatically enrolled for the spring semester. For questions, please email dental-coord@tchnetwork.org.

Skippy is offered at no out-of-pocket costs to all families. If you have dental insurance, we will bill for services just like other dental offices. TCHNetwork offers health insurance enrollment assistance if you need insurance.
