Wolf Canyon Does Their Part to Help Others

Please consider donating to the Holiday Toy Drive from now until December 3rd. All toys will be given to Chula Vista Elementary School District families in need. (*Please do not wrap so that they may be sorted accordingly.) There is a box in the office and we will be happy to collect them for you. We thank you in advance for your generosity.

Thank you to those who have already returned signed permission slip and $3 donation to cover the cost of the bus. If you haven't done so already, please return to your teacher this week as they were due last Friday. Teachers will be choosing parent chaperones this week and will notify you of the lucky winners! Reminder: Wednesday, December 9th (Kolodziej & Carreon) and Thursday, December 10th (Riggs & Connary) from 9:00-2:00 we will be going to the Olympic Training Center.

REMINDER: Your child will create a visual presentation based on a California Mission assigned that is due the day we return from Thanksgiving break, Monday, November 30th. We will continue to do the research in class but hopefully you have already begun work on its construction. Guidelines and instructions were sent home last week but please feel free to contact Mr. Riggs or Mrs. Carreon should you have any questions.

School Policy Update

School Policy Update Starting immediately Wolf Canyon office personnel will no longer be responsible for delivering lunches, homework, or other items to students during the school day. If you need to deliver something to your child during the school day, you or your designee will need to sign in as a visitor in the school office and take these items to your child during his/her recess or lunchtime only. Also, please make sure to coordinate how your child gets home after school prior to arriving to school. For everyone’s safety, the office will not be responsible for sending messages to students about after school pick up arrangements. If you have any questions please contact Ms. McLaren, the school principal.
