We've been learning:

We will soon be finishing Unit 1 with our final assessment on Friday. We have discussed place value, comparing numbers, rounding, ten times greater, and adding/subtracting with the standard algorithm.

We have been discussing plant structures and what is needed for them to survive. We will be soon investigating our hermit crabs to compare their structures to those of humans.

We have been making inferences about text using what we know and what it says to write our predictions. It is also important to evaluate details and key vocabulary when understanding our text.

We have been working on writing complete sentences using subjects, verbs, and complete thoughts. We are practicing editing fragments and run-on sentences. We will start our Narrative writing next week.
