Thanksgiving Help
2021
It’s that time of year again…
Time to give thanks for all that we have.
It’s also time for the….
Fairview Thanksgiving Fund
The ongoing pandemic has caused us to rethink how we can support our Fairview families who are struggling with food instability at Thanksgiving and during the school vacation. This year we are asking for those who can, to make a donation by cash or check (payable to Fairview PTO).
A donation of $55 will purchase Thanksgiving dinner for a family of four.
If your family is in need of support,
please contact Sue Davis (sddavis@auburnschl.edu) or Cindy Smith (csmith@auburnschl.edu) or call 784-3559.
Please make your donations by Monday, November 22nd
THANK YOU!!!
The students of the intermediate team (5th and 6th grade) wanted to continue our annual friendly competition of fictional “turkey points”. The class that collects the most money toward our Thanksgiving Fund will enjoy bragging rights and a special celebration with their teacher.

Weather, School Cancellations and Delays
As we quickly approach November, now is a good time to discuss school cancelations. If school is delayed or canceled, an automated phone message (robocall) will notify you. If you are not signed up to receive these calls and wish to do so, please contact our office at 784-3559.
A delayed start means school will start two hours later (10:25) and the bus will pick up students two hours later than the regular time.
As a reminder, the first three (3) days canceled will be traditional snow days. That means they will be made up at the end of the year and students will not have a remote instruction day.
