La Joya ISD ACE Program’s vision is to provide a safe, meaningful and recreational after school environment where students will achieve educational excellence.

Our Mission

The La Joya ISD ACE Program believes that all ACE students should have the opportunity to develop academic, social, and career readiness skills that will prepare them for the 21st century. By integrating the use of technology through a variety of innovative academic and enrichment activities, students will reach and excel at their full potential and become productive leaders of our community

Needs

-Data shows that students are not achieving a passing level on the STAAR test

-50% or more of students are at risk.

-Student attendance rate is below 96%

-Behavior issues and referral’s in the classroom

-Increase Parental Involvement

Goals

-Increase Academic Performance by proving homework and tutoring assistance daily for language arts, science, and math. Including listening, speaking and writing skills.

-Increase Attendance by providing intentional engaging activities.

-Decreased Behavior Problems by providing students to wants activities or clubs that are the best student’s interest

-Increase Parent Involvement by creating events that require parent assistance and student involvement to collaborate.
