Google Keep
Digital Note-taking
Where to find Google Keep: Phone, Tablet, Computer
Text Notes
Open "paper" to type out your notes. You can add a title (think subject) to your notes to help with organization later on.
Audio Notes
Voice memos to easily share what is on your mind to reference later. The audio is transcribed onto the note but it also saves the audio file. You can also add a "title/subject" to the voice note after it is recorded.
Checklist
Make a task list that you can check items once you have completed them.
Collaborators
You can share your notes with other Google users for collaboration.
Searching
Users are able to filter and search their notes by any of the organization ways set by the user. Color, label, keywords, reminders, or even shared notes.
Reminders
Notes, checklist, and photos can be set to have a reminder that will pop-up or notify users at a time/date the user has set.
Photos
Photos can be added to text & audio notes as well as checklists you create in Google Keep. In one note users can add multiple photos.
Labels
Labels can be used for organization. I use labels as categories for all the notes/checklist/photos I will be creating. This can help when searching later down the road.
Colors
Notes can be organized by color to help users categorize larger ideas, subjects, or concepts within their Google Keep notes.
