Technology Corner:
PROJECTOR BASICS
1. At the end of each instructional day, please ensure that your projector is turned completely off. This means that your projector is showing a single red light when you are looking up at it, and you cannot hear the hum of the fan.
2. If your projector is showing two non-blinking red lights and is NOT projecting, it means that your projector bulb is blown. Please submit a Service Desk ticket.
3. If your projector image has a weird tint to it (pinkish or green), it is likely that the VGA cable is loose either on your laptop/desktop or on the teacher plate. Please ensure that the cables are properly tightened. If this does not correct the problem, submit a Service Desk ticket.
4. If your projected image seems small or “squished”, press the ASPECT button on your remote until the image fills the screen properly.
