Back to School Virtual Learning

The first day of school was 09/08/20 at 8:30 for students in Grades 1-5! And 09/11/20 for Kindergarten.

This was not the start of the school year that we had hoped for!

More than anything, we want to see your students return to safe and healthy buildings. Since this is not currently an option, members of our staff have been working hard to prepare for starting the year learning remotely. Unfortunately, there are still some students and families and staff experiencing technical difficulties. Our IT team continues to work very hard to identify a quick and effective solution. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please know that our staff is working hard to make create a safe and productive learning environment for students and families. We will continue to make adjustments to make the remote learning process easier. If your child is still having technical issues, please go to our district website to schedule an online IT appointment through Bookings at: https://www.fpschools.org/remote-learning/technology.

This week, students will "attend" during their assigned cohort time. Cohort A students should log-on at 8:25 to be sure they are ready to start with their teacher at 8:30. Their student ID number is the username and their birth date (mmddyyyy) is their password. Cohort B students should log-on at 12:25 p.m.

Does your child have their laptop charged and ready?

When in doubt, restart the laptop to resolve slowness and various errors!

Please also ensure your child is logging on during Specialists times. Please see the schedule for your child's teacher below. It is noted by the grade first, then the teachers last name initial.

Food Resources

Franklin Pierce Schools will offer free lunch to all children and youth ages 0-18*, Monday-Friday. Children do not have to be present to receive a meal. Federal regulations usually require student recipients to be present, but exceptions will be made given our current public health crisis.
