Principal's Message

Dear Henry Ford Parents,

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year! It is a privilege to introduce myself as the principal of Henry Ford. Returning to the Redwood City School District feels a lot like coming home. Apart from the last six years serving as principal for an elementary school in Daly City, my educational career has been here in Redwood City. I was an assistant principal at North Star, MIT and Kennedy. I also taught at both Fair Oaks and Roy Cloud Elementary Schools for over 15 years.

I am a Redwood City resident and all three of my children attended school here in the district. My youngest is now a freshman at Sequoia and my daughters are attending college. The education they received from the Redwood City School District prepared them both socially and academically for high school and college!

I have spent the last few weeks meeting with staff and parents to gain a better understanding of the values and vision in place here at Henry Ford. I look forward to working together to meet the needs of all our students and make Henry Ford an even more welcoming school community.

Please feel free to contact me anytime. My email address and phone number are listed at the bottom of the page.

Learning Safely at School

Learning Safely at School

School is currently open to in-person learning! The district has worked hard to put together numerous procedures and policies to ensure the safety and health of everyone on campus. The specific details to reopening plan or Roadmap to Learning Safely at School can be found here.

The Redwood City School District is also offering Independent Study for students whose health would be put at risk by in-person instruction, as determined by their parents or guardians. If you are interested in enrolling your child in our at home learning program, you can learn more here. You may also email your request to Dr. Baker ( or Wendy Kelly ( .
