Dooley's Bowl Information!

Thank you to everyone who attended Last Lecture and to Dr. Dezhbakhsh for his inspiring lecture!
Last Lecture was a Gold Dooley's Bowl event:

1st: Turmilton - 100 pts
2nd: Raoul - 75 pts
3rd: Dobbs - 50 pts

Also, our results from October Energy Month are in--thank you to all halls for participating in the effort to save energy!
October Energy Month was a Silver Dooley's Bowl event:

1st: Turmilton - 75 pts
2nd: Alabama - 50 pts
3rd: Longstreet-Means - 25 pts

Thus, the overall standings for Dooley's Bowl at the end of the semester are:

1st: Turmilton - 425 pts
2nd: Alabama - 375 pts
3rd: Raoul - 315 pts
4th: Longstreet-Means - 100 pts
5th: Dobbs - 90 pts
6th: Complex - 75 pts

Emory's Blacktivism Conference

Saturday, Feb. 20th 2016 at 12am


It is a pleasure to invite you to The Blacktivism Conference. The conference is organized by Emory students interested in Black activism within white spaces.

The purpose of the conference is to heighten a sense of identity by affirming student's experiences in white spaces and of their own self-worth as well as providing the tools to create "safe spaces" and be effective activists in their respective communities.

HOAP Clothing and Blanket Drive

Monday, Dec. 7th, 12am to Tuesday, Dec. 8th, 11:45pm


Homeless Outreach Awareness Project (HOAP) will be hosting a clothing and blanket donation drive to support people experiencing homelessness in Atlanta. As you clean out your room and closet before heading home for the holiday season, please gather all donation items (clothes, blankets or other essential items) and bring them to the donation boxes at the SAAC for Clairmont residents or at the DUC Information desk for main campus residents from now through Tuesday, Dec. 8.
