The Campus is Closed: School is Open!
Happy Monday Panthers!
I hope this newsletter finds you and your family safe and healthy. The picture to the left does a great job of summarizing our New Journey and Attitude!. THE CAMPUS IS CLOSED BUT SCHOOL IS NOT. Every single student should already have embraced this mindset! Teachers are working hard to provide learning opportunities for each student. We need you to accept the challenge each and every day. We all understand that every household has its unique situations. Understanding that each class, each lesson, each activity is important and needs to be completed as we continue to implement distance learning is essential. Teachers are tracking your progress. Just because you do not see a letter grade attached to an assignment yet does not mean points are not coming. If you need to complete unfinished work you missed, ask for guidance from your teacher, get it done and stay current with all of your teachers.
Here is the letter I sent to you last week: https://www.smore.com/bjg7q-our-next-journey
The school district is working with all schools to develop a fair grading policy for this last quarter of the school year. Many important pieces of information continue to roll out and we are working hard to develop policies that help meet the needs of all students. Stay tuned, please. Please review the information below and continue to reach out to us for support. Let's have a great week as we make our way to a well-deserved Spring Break.

Athletics Information
Spring 2020 season practices and games are canceled for the remainder of the school year.
Coaches should be continuing to reach out to your student-athletes and giving them two hours of training per week. Completion of the training program will allow students to earn a grade for PE credit.
Athletes, continue to train your body and mind. Stay active and rise above the circumstances. NPHS coaches have book recommendations at https://nphsathletics.org/motivational-books/ to help keep you motivated to maintain/increase your mental edge.
Coaches have been and will continue to reach out to their athletes to check-in.
Information pertaining to high school athletics continues to be released at an unprecedented pace. Please check https://nphsathletics.org/ and https://twitter.com/NPHSAthletic regularly for updates and information.
