John 4: 13-15

Jesus said to her, “Every one who drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst; the water that I shall give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Message from SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS RE: COVID -19

Good afternoon EICS Community,

With the recent update from the Chief Medical Officer of Health on Saturday, March 14th, we wanted to share with our EICS community the number of recommendations that were provided in dealing with the coronavirus situation. The number one message that we want to convey based on the Chief Medical Officer of Health is that as of now, all schools in Alberta remain open. Elk Island Catholic Schools is adhering to all of the recommendations from Dr. Hinshaw (Chief Medical Officer of Health) and has created a Fact Sheet today that encompasses all of them in one document. We realize that this is a lengthy document (attached), but it is important information that we wanted our families to be able to reference over the next few days. For those people that have difficulty opening this document, please know that it will also be available online at eics.ab.ca on our coronavirus webpage.

Many thanks for your continued support and cooperation as we all work together to keep our students and staff safe and healthy.

Shawn Haggarty
Superintendent
