Students should continue to follow the GaVS schedule that they chose upon entering their course.
Even if the local school breaks do not coincide with the GaVS break, students must meet the assignment due dates.
Students should communicate their school breaks with their teacher as soon as possible, and if necessary, discuss with their instructor how to get ahead.
**Late policies will apply to assignments turned in after the bi-weekly due date.**

Are you interested in business and developing your leadership skills?
If so, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) may be the right organization for you.
FBLA promotes leadership and business through meetings, guest speakers, conferences, and competitions. Its focus is to help prepare students for careers in business and business-related fields.
This year marks the third year that the Georgia Virtual School (GaVS) FBLA Chapter has been in existence. We are hoping the chapter will continue to grow in members during the 2014-2015 school year. If you are enrolled in at least one course (any subject) in the current semester with GaVS and are interested in joining FBLA, please complete the survey through the link below. An application form along with information about the first meeting will be sent directly to you. Membership requires an application and $11 membership fee by Friday, September 26th.
Once you complete the survey through the link above, an email with additional information will be sent to your GaVS email address within two school days.
