Big picture

Assalamu Alaikum Dear Parents,

We hope this message finds you and your family in the best of health. Alhamdullilah I am pleased to inform you that we have begun our re-entry planning process. I appreciate all of your prompt responses to the survey sent out this week. Your responses are crucial for our planning process. We are planning to continue to offer Virtual Learning (as done currently) to those of you who have chosen this option. We are also planning to re-open our campuses for in-person instruction (with proper safety measures in place) for our parents and students who prefer on campus learning. Please stay tuned for further information regarding our re-entry date Insh'Allah.

Jazakomu Allahu Khairan,

Muhammad Aftab Diwan, MEd

Jupiter Ed: Checking emails and responding to teachers

Good communication benefits the students. We request that parents check their emails daily, and please respond to the teachers trying to contact you through Jupiter Ed at your earliest convenience, inshaAllah.

Teachers may attempt to communicate with parents telephonically (if need be). Please make sure to listen to your voicemail, and respond if it is from your child's teacher. We will call all the numbers we have on file, including emergency contacts (if urgent), in the event we do not get any response from the guardians.

Visiting School

Parents/visitors must have their temperature checked first before entering the premises. Upon arrival, please stop by the school main office to sign in and receive your visitor badge.

AG Assignment Charts

Parents, please check that your children open the assignment charts every morning. Some students felt if they memorized their schedule, they didn’t need it anymore. Let them know the charts show what materials are needed, what to expect, and what needs to be accomplished. In addition, slight adjustments may be made as the week goes along.

When students have Support Sessions, they should especially check the assignment chart to see what work they should do independently. It should not be treated as a free period, otherwise it can result in missing work and falling behind. Some teachers require check-ins to help students not skip the period and to avoid having missing work.
