The population of Haiti is 10,461,409. 78% of all Haitian's live on less than $2.oo a day. 70% of Haitian's do not have access to potable water (potable water is drinkable water). Over 50% of the deaths in Haiti each year is of contaminated water.
The problems that Haiti is facing
In 2010 a earthquake rated 7.0 has caused problems in the water system. Over 50% of the deaths in Haiti is of contaminated water. The people of Haiti often will gather water from 'garbage-filled' rivers. Another problem is that water very expensive for haitians to buy. Only 55.2% of the population has access to an improved water system.
Possible solutions
some of the solution that we have thought of was to keep providing water. Also to make more wells and water systems to help them have clean water. For people to send money to provide clean water for the haitians
