Dear UK 1st Impressions Team,

I'm gearing up to head out of town for a few weeks of R&R with family...but of course I'm working on some shows as well so my car will be packed also with S&D goodies. Never leave home without 'em I say!

So while all be out of pocket for a while, I will be checking emails sporadically and will try to get back to you sooner than later if you have an urgent question.

In the meantime, you can picture me on the beach with my family planning my Glam Getaway Strategy!

My Early Strategy for the Glam Getaway Push!

We're all in the same position when it comes to going for this trip so let's get as many UK 1st Impressions Teammates there as possible! Here's my strategy:

  • Work Double Points through Thursday, 7/31 like never before! I just booked a show for this Weds. and am also reaching out to provide that specialized customer service for some extra orders. DOUBLE POINTS are HUGE!!! One show can equal two so its well-worth your time to get some orders in over the next 4 days.
  • Hold your own show this week! - Hello Double Points! - make it simple, easy and fun!
  • I'm aiming to hold 4-5 shows in August. Booking cannot take a backseat. Summer is great because you can book last min shows but it also can be a time when shows postpone or cancel at the last min b/c people head out of town. Give your business the insurance it deserves by booking 1 or 2 more than you plan on holding to keep your momentum going this summer.
  • I'll spend one hour minimum/week on booking CALLS (not on family vacation time but during the other weeks of the summer). If people aren't able to hold a show in Aug., I'll book them for a fun fall reunion when all their friends come back into town. I WILL start my fall out strong in September but those booking conversations need to happen now.
  • I'm booking-ending my 2 week vacation with shows. That keeps my biz strong while also giving me 2 weeks off of downtime!
  • Throughout my summer my bag is always packed with Lookbooks and Opportunity Brochures to spread the S&D love to customers and prospective stylists! 1/2 of each dollar a New Stylist (from 1st of July on) earns on my first line will go towards my Glam Points. I'll be talking up our amazingly flexible business opportunity on the beach in casual conversation. So simple to do.
  • I'm sending out Lookbooks with sticky notes to all my potential hostesses and am keeping notes on who they went to for follow up when I get back.
