LADY PANTHER BASKETBALL

The Lady Panther Basketball teams had an amazing week with all 3 teams sweeping games against Fort Worth South Hills and Arlington Sam Houston. WAY TO GO!

VOLLEYBALL

CHHS Volleyball players participated in the Snowball Express on Saturday, December 12th. The girls greeted families of fallen soldiers at the airport as they arrived for the annual Snowball Express Program. The program honors families with a 5 day retreat here in the metroplex filled with fun, community, education, togetherness, and holiday cheer.

GYMNASTICS

CHHS competed at the Birdsville Invitational on Thursday, December 10th.


-CHHS took 2nd place as a team.

-Brenna Currie 2nd place on floor and vault, 5th on beam, 7th bars, and 4th place all around.

-Maria Garcia 9th place on floor, bars, and beam, and 8th place all around.

-Scarlet Martin 9th place on vault, 10th on beam and floor, and 9th place all around.

-Tia Jones 7th place on vault and 10th place all around.
-Bryce Sutton-Petroff got 7th on floor, 9th on rings, 10th on parallel bars, and 10th all around.

ART HISTORY

Out of 287 Young Masters Art History submissions, Taylor Gaudet's essay was selected as one of the five finalists that will have an essay featured in the 2016 Young Masters exhibition! CONGRATULATIONS!

PTSA THANKS YOU!

As this calendar year and first semester comes to a close, CHHS PTSA thanks all our parent, student, teacher, staff and community members, contributors and volunteers. Together we make a positive impact for our school. Thank you especially to Barb Gradke and her crew, and everyone who donated items like cookies and gift cards for our Staff Appreciation Lunch last Friday. Thanks especially to our generous sponsor Jason Ridley Insurance and to Palio’s Pizza Café for providing the delicious food.

CHHS ATHLETIC TRAINERS

Colleyville Heritage athletic trainers, Meredith Swayne and Brian Terrell, along with their athletic training student aides took part in collecting toys for Santa’s Helpers in conjunction with Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation- Sports Health. Baylor Rehab started the campaign to fill the SportsHealth van with toys to donate to a local charity for the holidays.”

The Colleyville Heritage Band represented us well last weekend at the TMEA Region Band Auditions and earned several top spots!

Jisu Jung and Jordan Drake will be competing this January at the Area competition in Abilene. If they place high enough, they will earn the highest honor of being a member of the All-State Band. Good luck to Jisu and Jordan!
