Fall fundraiser orders will be ready for pick up on Tuesday, December 7th from 2:30-4:30PM. Please make sure you or someone you know can pick your orders up. Orders will not be sent home with students or stored at the school. Reach out to gilbertharrisptso.com if you have any questions!

Dear Harris Elementary 3rd Grade Families,

As you know, your 3rd grader is participating in the Harris Elementary Winter Program! Your student has been working really hard all year to prepare for this concert and we can’t wait to perform for you! We are hoping this letter home will answer any questions you may have and alleviate any concerns you may have.


Date: Thursday, December 9th, 2021


Where: Our elementary concert will be held in the Harris Elementary Multi-purpose Room at 5:30 PM.


Entering the Building: Please enter the building through the double doors of the gym. There will be signs on the door for you to enter. Students will make their way to the general music room.


Drop Off: Please drop your child off by 5:10 PM so they may have time to warm-up and practice their songs.


What Do I Wear:

  • Boys: a plain red or green shirt with no writing and blue jeans or dress pants

  • Girls: a plain red or green shirt with no writing and blue jeans. Girls also have the option to wear a red or green dress.

IMPORTANT DAILY SCHOOL REMINDERS


  • Handicap Parking is for those that either have a designated plate or sticker prominently displayed. DO NOT park in this zone if you do not have a plate or sticker.


  • There is NO LEFT TURN when leaving the Harris parking lot during the hours of 2:30PM-3:00PM


  • Students cannot arrive on campus until 7:45 AM as there is NO School Supervision until this time. For the safety of your child, please be sure they are not left unattended.


  • Reminders: Parents will not be allowed inside the building without prior approval. Safety for our children must remain top priority.


  • Please remember to bring your ID when picking up your student during school hours. This is for the safety of your student.


  • The cut-off time to pull students out early is 2:35PM (1:35PM on Weds) If you arrive after this time to sign your child out, you will have to wait until the dismissal bell rings.


  • We understand life happens and there are times when you may be late after school to pick up your child. Please be sure to communicate with the front office if this should occur. Otherwise, we expect your child to be picked up on time as school ends promptly @ 2:55 PM (1:55PM on Weds) (11:55AM in half days)
