Many families expected their teenagers to have jobs and earn income. Teens also had many responsibilities and often worked with multiple generations of their family.
Here, pretend you are a teen living from 1946-52 facing this constant barrage of expectations and values from society. How might you react to this barrage if you feel like you do not or cannot fit the mold?
